1. Use of the Service

• You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian to use our Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

2. Services Offered

We provide file transfer and temporary storage services with the following modes:

• Snap Mode: Temporarily stores files on our server filesystem with expiration control. Files are deleted automatically.
• Cloud Mode: Stores files in AWS S3 (US Virginia region) for a user-defined period. Pro users can set advanced controls such as:
  • Receiver-side download limits
  • Share token limits
  • Instant file deletion before expiration
  • Custom storage configuration
• P2P Mode: Transfers files directly between devices (browser-to-browser) without server storage.

All modes support file expiration settings. File and size limits vary by mode and user plan (free or pro).

Pro users may also send file download links directly to recipients via email. Currently, all notifications are sent through web push, as email-based communication is not actively supported.

3. File Security and Encryption

While we use secure infrastructure and reputable services like AWS S3 for file handling, we do not offer end-to-end encryption (E2EE). Files stored or transferred via our platform are not encrypted by default.

We recommend that users avoid uploading highly sensitive or confidential information. If you do, please ensure that your files are pre-encrypted or protected using your own methods.

4. Snap Mode Disclaimer

Snap Mode stores files temporarily on our server disk. While we aim for reliable performance, we are not liable for any loss of files due to:

• Server crashes, unexpected shutdowns, or hardware failures.
• Cyberattacks, database corruption, or other security breaches.
• Infrastructure migrations or server relocations — Snap Mode files are not preserved and may be deleted without notice during such operations.

Users are encouraged to use Cloud Mode for more persistent and recoverable storage needs.

5. User Responsibilities

• You agree not to use the Service for illegal activities or to transfer prohibited content.
• You acknowledge that misuse of the Service may result in termination of your account.
• You agree that dropiqo is not responsible for monitoring or validating the contents shared through its platform. The Service does not scan, filter, or moderate files, and cannot be held liable for any malicious, illegal, vulgar, or inappropriate content transferred using the platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages resulting from:

• Loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to files.
• Service interruptions or errors.
• Any other issues arising from your use of the Service.

7. Payment and Refunds

• Our Pro plan is offered as a 30-day subscription, not based on calendar months.
• We do not offer refunds once a payment has been successfully processed.
• If a payment fails or is stuck in a pending state, you must wait until it is resolved before making another attempt. Funds will not be auto-applied unless a support request is raised and approved.
• All payments are processed via secure banking channels. Failed transactions will be refunded automatically by your bank, not by us.

8. Account Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the Service inappropriately.
• You may stop using the Service at any time. Account data and uploaded files may be deleted upon termination.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, software, and other intellectual property associated with dropiqo are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
